Thermographic Survey

Infrared radiation is emitted by all objects and the amount of radiation emitted by an object increases with temperature. The Thermal Camera allows these differences in temperature to be seen. Warm objects stand out well against cooler backgrounds.

  • Items in inaccessible areas can be scanned safely.
  • Deteriorating components can be found before they fail.
  • Planned repair of highlighted faults. (Less downtime)
  • Non-destructive test method.
  • Large areas can be scanned showing variations in temperature.
  • Visual photograph taken at same time to help locate pending fault.
  • Useful for mechanical items. eg. gearboxes, bearings & motors.
